Repurposed Project #9 - Alternative to Styrofoam Peanuts

I don't know about you, but I can't seem to get away from Styrofoam cups when I eat out. Seems as if 90% of the fast food joints I frequent have Styrofoam cups instead of recyclable plastic or paper. I love sweet, Southern tea and this delightful drink comes in Styrofoam cups most of the time.
So what do I do with all that Styrofoam? I reuse it, repurpose it into packing material since I have no way of recycling it in my area. And you can do the same.
The material is light weight and helps protect fragile items, so it is perfect as a box filler. I make sure to wash all my cups before using them and then break them up into heafty size chunks. Don't break them up too small, or it will require twice as many pieces to fill up an area. Even leave the bottom of the cups whole, they come in handy, especially when you need some extra cushion.
