Vintage Wizard Calculating Machine Value

If batteries couldn't be found, your mind was fuzzy and electricity wasn't working, this little calculating machine would come in handy. A manual calculating machine that can add, subtract and multiply. Don't ask me how it works, because I have never seen one and didn't know they existed until I found this one back in 2011.

I have received several emails within the last two years with enquiries about this Wizard Calculating Machine that I sold back in 2011. People want to know how much it is worth and if I have another one for sale. I could have sold several if I had more. Unfortunately, I don't have another one, but I can tell you that these machines sell from $15 to $35 depending on the condition and how old they are. You might find someone willing to pay more, but this is the average price that I found. This specific machine is from West Germany, and had the original owners name scratched into the metal surface, so I sold it for $15; but like I said they can sell for as much as $35 as long as they have all the parts, including the pen. If you have the pocket protector, original box and instructions, that's a bonus!

First Garden Layout

The weather has been really nice in Texas, cooler than it normally is, so I have been working outside doing a mock-up of the garden area. We decided to move the garden closer to the house because it will get more shade in the evening during the hot summer months. The yard slopes down, so we are going to build up the end of the garden bed to make it level and add some excitement to the landscape. We salvaged old bricks (which we paid nothing for) to building up the end of the bed. I love getting things for free.
